Lawyer, physician and former Premier of Quebec, Pierre Marc Johnson has been legal counsel at Heenan Blaikie since 1996 and is active on a number corporate boards. In 1993, and for 18 months, he is Technical Advisor for public and private hospital network to ministers of the French government. Afterword, he becomes Human Resources Director of APHP (70,000 employees). Before his nomination as Chief Executive Officer of CHUM, Christian Paire was Chief Executive Officer of had a similar function at Rouen’s university hospital, CHU des hôpitaux de Rouen (2,500 beds on five sites – 8,000 employees -800 doctors).

a radiologist by training has been involved at different levels of the University since 1979. He was head of department and Executive Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. He played major role in the planning of the new Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) as Vice-President of the SICHUM, the organization responsible for the implementation of the new university hospital, as well as its Planning Director. In 2009, the Quebec Association of Radiologist where he was Secretary and President for 17 years, gave him the Albert-Jutras Prize to underline his remarkable career in the hospital and university sectors.

A graduate of McGill University Law, he developed solid expertise in public policy and international negotiation first at the UN and later in the Privy Council Office. He has been a strategy consultant in Toronto, Paris and Boston with A.T. Kearney and Bain & Company. At that time, he specialized in innovation, information technology and investment funds. He is on the board of the Banff Forum and of Equitas.

His experience in this regard was augmented at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris where he subsequently became a professor of hospital administration teaching future hospital managers. In the early 1990s, in particular, she created and directed the Observatoire de l’administration publique.
